President

Based in the New York headquarters and reporting to the Founder, the President will be the day-to-day leader of the organization and be responsible for the achievement of the organization’s strategic growth objectives over the next 3-5 years, which include doubling the organization in terms of staff, participants served, and annual revenue (to $10 million). The President is expected to further develop the organization’s strategic partnerships and relationships. He/she will also be accountable for MLT’s annual operating and financial objectives. The President will manage and develop program directors, centralized staff resources and part-time consultants - a total current staff of approximately 35 individuals. He/she will work closely with the Founder, and should be seen as a potential successor.

Capabilities, Experience, Qualifications

  • Extensive P&L management experience or senior Consulting experience, preferably in both the corporate & non-profit sectors
  • Outstanding leadership ability, having demonstrated the capacity to inspire others and build new initiatives successfully
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage highlevel relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, partners, and constituencies
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the organization, and strong knowledge of ethnic or minority demographics

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Position Description
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for building and developing MLT into a well-recognized, aspirational brand among young people and within the business/philanthropic communities. He/she will create and execute a strategic roadmap for MLT’s brand in conjunction with MLT’s Board of Directors, corporate partners, and industry experts. He/she will develop core brand communication vehicles and manage the marketing and recruiting function within the organization. The Chief Marketing Officer will report directly to the President/COO, and will work across the organization and externally with our corporate and agency partners. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader and brand builder who can shape the marketing strategy and execution to achieve core operational goals.

Partner Relations Officer

The MLT Partner Relations Officer will be located in MLT’s NYC office and report to the Director of Partner and Business Development. He or she will work closely with the Partner Relations Manager to ensure that MLT’s relationships with major corporate partners are managed and executed well. Director of Talent

Position Description
The Director of Talent will lead MLT’s talent acquisition and development process, including all staff recruiting and hiring, orientation, and performance evaluation. This person will be based in NYC and report directly to the COO/President.

Primary Responsibilties

Recruitment Efforts
-Identify and cultivate broad, diverse pipelines of talent for full-time positions across the organization
-Lead and manage all aspects of MLT’s hiring process: identify appropriate recruiting channels, screen resumes, interview candidates, conduct reference checks, and orient new employees
-Develop and train managers on best practices for recruiting, interviewing, negotiating and training
-Establish and cultivate relationships with organizations and individuals who support recruiting efforts

Organizational Leadership
-Create and lead strategy sessions with MLT’s leadership team to address core strategic issues related to attracting, developing and retaining top talent
-Collaborate with MLT’s President to develop and maintain hiring calendar with minimal position vacancy
-Partner with President on select strategic projects

Retention and Development Efforts
-Develop and lead MLT orientation sessions and support hiring managers in the creation of new hire work plans
-Oversee MLT’s performance evaluation process, in coordination with the President and Program Directors; ensure supervisors are trained on the execution of this process
-Assist in fielding personnel concerns

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong leadership and project management skills, follow through, and a passion for the mission. Other qualifications -Five years work experience, including 2-3 years of management experience (ideally in staff sourcing/hiring)

Position Description
The Talent Recruitment Coordinator will contribute significantly to the growth of the MBA Prep Program. Career Prep Coach

Position Description
The Career Preparation Program Coach is a full-time or part-time position that will have primary responsibility for implementing the CP coaching curriculum, including but not limited to providing personalized career guidance to the students, developing event content and materials for fellows. The Coach needs to know the bar of excellence and be able to assess and support fellows’ ability to be successful candidates in top entry-level business jobs. The Coach will report to the Career Preparation Program Director.

Primary Responsibilities
* Provide fellows with timely, personalized career guidance
* Marshaling fellows through key aspects of the preparatory curriculum, which include:
* Strength and weakness assessments and action plan development
* Industry/career research
* Resume development
* Interview preparation
* Leadership and self-awareness training

* Assessing overall applicant readiness at various milestones during the program
* Connecting participants to volunteer advisors as needed
* Sharing participant progress with fellow Coaches to maximize collective learning

Talent Recruitment Manager

Position Description
The Talent Recruitment Manager will be responsible for increasing the quality and quantity of the pipelines for MLT’s MBA Prep program for young professionals and MLT’s Career Prep program for college juniors. The Talent Recruitment Manager will manage the MBA Prep and Career Prep Talent Recruitment Coordinators while working closely with the Brand & Communications Manager and report to the MBA Prep and Career Prep Program Director.

The ideal candidate will have a superior mix of strategic acumen, business experience, project management skills and extreme attention to detail. This person must excel in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multitask effectively. MLT actively maintains a collaborative yet entrepreneurial culture.

Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies for identifying and attracting outstanding applicants, including developing messaging and tactics targeting millennials.
• Leverage fellow and alumni pools to drive program applications.
• Build partnerships with targeted feeder organizations to increase quality applicant flow
• Develop and implement strategy to establish an ongoing MLT presence nationwide in young professional organizations, associations, and other circles through partnership and co-programming for MBA Prep and on campuses of target CP feeder schools; building relationships with targeted administrators, faculty and student leaders
