For Excellence in Leadership (4XL)
In 2002, NBA star and 2004 league MVP Kevin Garnett
partnered with Management Leadership
for Tomorrow (MLT) to provide young people with a roadmap to higher
achievement.
Together we launched 4XL - For Excellence in Leadership to put minority
youth on the path to business and community leadership by addressing their key
development needs via a Web-based curriculum that provides a personalized Leadership Roadmap. This innovative program:
- Connects high school and
college students to career resources, mentors, and a high-performing peer
community
- Exposes students to a broad
array of academic and career opportunities
- Provides instruction to
foster academic/career achievement and develop leaders
- Delivers a preparatory
roadmap for success via personalized bi-weekly emails

We went to talented professionals, educators, admissions officers and top executives from a wide variety of industries and asked them: what experiences, qualifications, and personal qualities do you look for in people that you choose for your company or school? Based on this input, we put together the Leadership Roadmap, a comprehensive career guidance and skill development curriculum for high school and college students via a bi-weekly email.

your account) lets us give you information relevant to your interests,
school year, and geographic location.
