MBA Prep runs from Spring to Spring, with a final mandatory seminar in early summer. When planning your path to business school, be sure to factor in MBA Prep approximately 18 months ahead of when you want to start. Our next MBA Prep class will start in March of 2009 and will be eligible to go to business school in the fall of 2010.

What are the costs associated with MBA Prep?

There is a $75 non-refundable application fee. If admitted, you will pay a $300 program deposit which will be refundable upon completion of your contract terms. You will be responsible for transportation costs associated with attending the required three events held throughout the year at partner business schools, but we will cover your hotel and meals on those trips.

Where are the seminars held?

Seminar locations vary from year to year, but are typically held Thursday evenings through Sunday afternoons at our partner schools. For example, in 2008 we were at Emory Goizueta Business School in Atlanta in the spring, UNC Keenan-Flagler Business School/Duke Fuqua School of Business in the summer, and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in the fall. The schedule for 2009 has not been finalized. Our year end seminar is hosted by several corporate sponsors and is held in NYC.

What exactly do I do at these seminars? What are the benefits?

The seminars are a required part of the MBAP program. It is your exclusive opportunity to network with various Admission Officers from several top business schools. In addition, you are able to interact with your MBAP peers and coaches, attend informative workshops and experience mock interview sessions.
