Weekend Seminars
MLT events are designed to provide both general information and
individualized instruction to support the participants during the MBA
application process. MLT hosts events on business school campuses so
that the participants have the additional benefit of visiting campuses.
Traditionally,
the program is scheduled to kick-off in March with an Orientation
session, which will include an overview of the application process, how
to select an MBA program, and one-on-one GMAT preparation counseling
offered by the Princeton Review Foundation. In addition, the
participants will begin networking as a cohort to support one another
throughout the MBA Prep program.
Two seminars scheduled for June and September will include
individualized instruction by partner admissions professionals and
other specialists, one of the distinguishing characteristics that makes
MLT's MBA Prep unique. Participants will receive one-on-one sessions
with admissions officers to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses as
candidates, to help hone their personal "stories" and to experience
mock interviews. In addition, during these and other seminars
throughout the year, career counselors, financial aid officers, and
other specialists will address financial planning, career planning,
writing skills, recommendations and other important topics.
